Unveiling the Four-Layer Material Composition of Synthetic Resin Tiles: Helping You Fully Understand the Roof Protection System!

Synthetic resin tiles are lightweight, durable, aesthetically pleasing, with a strong three-dimensional effect, providing insulation and heat resistance, as well as being resistant to corrosion, deformation, and bursting. These advantages have gradually become well-received with the widespread application of synthetic resin tiles. However, many people are still unclear about the materials that make up synthetic resin tiles. In reality, the main raw material of synthetic resin tiles is synthetic resin, which is primarily used in plastic manufacturing. Synthetic resin tiles are typically made by co-extruding ASA and PVC, which are highly weather-resistant engineering resins.

They consist of four layers in total:

  1. Weather-resistant layer: Made of highly weather-resistant engineering resin ASA, it possesses strong weather resistance and UV resistance, ensuring that the tiles do not fade or deform over long periods in outdoor environments.
  2. Impact-resistant layer: Made of PVC material with strong impact resistance, it effectively withstands harsh weather conditions and external impacts, ensuring the tiles are not easily damaged.
  3. Insulation layer: Made of polystyrene foam material, it has good insulation properties, effectively blocking the high heat generated by hot weather and maintaining a comfortable indoor temperature.
  4. Wear-resistant layer: Made of PMMA material with strong wear resistance, it effectively protects the smoothness and wear resistance of the tiles, extending their lifespan.

Each layer of the resin tiles is indispensable, working together with different functions and characteristics, collectively forming an efficient roof protection system.
