How to identify whether resin tiles have aged

Synthetic resin tiles have the advantages of light weight, easy installation and operation, anti-corrosion and insulation, impact resistance, noise reduction, and long service life. The life of resin tiles is short, two or three years, and the longest is several decades. When do we need to replace them? How can we identify the degree of aging of resin tiles? Let’s learn together:

1. Synthetic resin tiles have good anti-corrosion properties. They are immersed in salt, alkali and 60% acid for 24 hours without any chemical reaction and will not fade. If artificial aging experiments show cracking, spots, powdering, fading and other phenomena, it indicates that the resin tiles have aged and need to be replaced.

2. Synthetic resin tiles have strong impact resistance. Experiments have proved that a kilogram of steel balls will not produce cracks on the surface of the tiles under free fall of 1 meter, and 10 times the product will not be damaged. If there is damage, the resin tiles will age and need to be replaced.

3. If the synthetic resin tiles have a decrease in bearing capacity and cracking during the stepping process, it can also prove that the resin tiles have aged and need to be replaced.

In fact, the degree of aging of resin tiles can also be seen with the naked eye. When the resin tiles age, the surface will show more obvious fading, cracking, deformation and other phenomena. Generally speaking, for enterprises, high-quality resin tiles can be used for about 30 years without any problems. They can also be recycled and reused without wasting time or other environmental pollution control.
