In recent years, synthetic resin tiles have stood out in various industries with their excellent performance and beautiful atmosphere. Whether walking in the bustling streets or shuttling through the old streets, you can find its figure. However, despite the good performance of the product, if you do not pay attention to the installation details, it may cause problems such as leakage, cracking, and short service life. Therefore, in order to make the resin tile last longer, in addition to buying good quality resin tile, it is also important to install it in a standardized way. Today, let’s discuss how to install the resin tile firmly.
Before fixing the synthetic resin tile, pre-drilling is required, and the hole diameter must be 50% larger than the diameter of the fixing screw to avoid thermal expansion and contraction causing internal stress cracking of the skylight tile. When the synthetic resin tile is connected in the longitudinal direction, there must be a minimum overlap of 200mm and two waterproof strips must be pasted. When installing the main tile, it must be installed in the opposite direction according to the local wind direction, and a wave peak (including the ridge tile connection) must be connected in the transverse direction and a tile spacing in the longitudinal direction. The contact part of the purlin must be fixed with self-tapping screws. For two-sided sloping roof, it must be installed symmetrically on both sides at the same time to facilitate the waveform fit of the ridge tile installation. The connection between the ridge tile and the sloping tile should be treated flat for the installation of the three-way. When constructing the synthetic resin tile, it is strictly forbidden to step directly on the wave peak to avoid cracking of the skylight board. A non-slip thick wooden board must be placed in the transverse position of the skylight board, and the foot must be stepped on it for the guiding hole and fixing screw work. The fixing parts are special self-tapping screws. First, the screw seal gasket should be padded, then the electric wrench should be tightened moderately, and then the waterproof cap should be covered.
Installing resin tiles is not difficult. Professional resin tile manufacturers have perfect after-sales service, providing installation videos or on-site guidance. Some simple projects can be installed by yourself, but for larger or more complex projects, it is still recommended to hire a professional construction team to ensure the effectiveness of the resin tiles.
